Applied through staffing company, contract position. One phone interview, then onsite interview after two weeks. Two people on panel took my interview.

If signal is need to be transmitter from point A to B. Distance between point A and B is 200 miles. Will it be possible to send signal from point A to B without modulating signal from A to B? YES/ NO? and Why ?

This was a contract position and I was applied through a staffing agency. I was interviewed by 3-4 people through the phone. The interview was quite short, less than 20 min. I guess I didn't match well.
