I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Qualcomm (San Diego, CA) in Apr 2008
Interview
I had several phone interviews with Qualcomm for their engineer positions but failed to score an on-site one mostly because I wasn't very prepared for their technical questions. So make sure you got the basics down before applying. As much as I remember, those interview questions cover lots of C fundamentals such as pointers, function pointers and function calls, as well as other computer science knowledge. Good luck!

With two other engineers in a call that lasted about an hour. They asked questions about my resume and some technical questions on programming in C and C++, but the questions weren't too difficult and they were very welcoming.

I applied through university. I interviewed at Qualcomm (Ann Arbor, MI) in Nov 2019
Interview
The interviewer was aggressive and confrontational. He made me doubt what I was saying for each answer, and made me generally uncomfortable for the entire 45 minutes. I did not enjoy it.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Qualcomm in Feb 2019
Interview
Had two telephonic interviews, one with a senior engineer and one with the manager. Each was 30 minutes long. Questions were mainly based on resume and core embedded concepts like communication protocols and basic C concepts.
