After my CV was shortlisted, I was phoned and told I would be sent "the next steps" and a number to phone back via email. I never got that email, so I recalled the number that had initially called me. However, the reception was terrible, and the communication felt unprofessional. I started getting the "sketchy" vibes. After this call, I was finally sent the aforementioned email and guided to a video interview platform. I was going to complete it despite the weird vibes but after reading some reviews here, I can see everyone experienced the same bad communication. And candidates are putting in seemingly way more effort than the recruiter, only to get a simple response.
