Interview
I did the interview session at the firm. Been told to wait a week to get their feedback but I waited for more than one week. Should tell the result either being accepted or not rather than just silence.
The questions ranged from my understanding of legal procedures and current legal issues to situational and ethical scenarios, testing not only my knowledge but also my ability to reason under pressure. I appreciated how the interviewers took time to understand my interests and aspirations, and how they also shared their expectations and work culture at the firm.
I had applied for pupillage under a different department, however when I arrived I was interviewed for a different department (without prior notice, and I was only informed during the interview). It was casual, until they started grilling me on legal questions and shamed me for not knowing what some of the answers were. They even asked me my current cgpa (as my final results had not yet come out) and had condescendingly wished me "well" for my final results. Overall not a very positive experience.
