Waste of time. Lack of professionalism and seriousness of the recruitment process.
The company recruiter turned to me via linkdain - she didn't speak to me by phone at all (even after I sent her my resume by e-mail and she already had my phone number) - all of her conduct was via emails only including determing the time for the interview.
The interview was a remote interview with the company's marketing manager and with the founder.
The feeling I got from the interview was that it was just an interview they were looking to pass on and nothing more - they didn't introduce themselves, they didn't talk about the company, didn't talk about the position or gave any relevant information about it, didn't ask me about salary expectations, and by total there were about 10 Minutes of interview during which they hardly ask me questions, the founder bearly spoke and the marketing manager who interviewed me from home was busy with his son who started crying in the background.
Towards the end of the conversetion, the marketing manager asked me to send some of my content works and so i did - i sent him an email with links to some of my contents right after the interview.
He answered to the email only the next day and wrote that they would go over it and be in touch with me within a day or two, only that these "day or two" became just 3 hours from the time i received his email until I received an email from their recruiter that says they decided not to continue with me in the process since they are looking for someone more "suitable" for the position - a conclusion they reached during a 10 minute "interview" in the total during which they barely interviewed me ...
It's not so clear why I (and they) had to spend time on an interview they didn't seem to want to do, unclear why I was asked to submit writing examples when they didn't even intend to move on with me, and even more unclear why the marketing manager emailed me back that he will go over my writing examples when they already decided that they will not move on with me with the process, but if the company transmits such unseriousness only at the recruitment stage - it is probably better not to work in such a place.
