      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Reset MSM in Sept 2025

      Interview

Interview was incredibly unsettling, CEO was listing off her achievements and also disclosing private information about her employees. She asked me where my name was from and if I was born in this country. She also told me some inappropriate opinions and cut me off from speaking. In total was the most uncomfortable interview I have had. She admitted she doesn't make any money from this company. At the end she asked me to come for a second interview. The next day they scheduled a second interview without confirming a time with me so I withdrew my application as I felt too anxious to even entertain a second meeting with the CEO.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Reset MSM (London, England) in Nov 2024

      Interview

During my first interview I was asked personal questions about my family which caught me off guard. She also mentioned about her ex-staff member, about her race and how she didn’t know english so it was a struggle for them, it was unnecessary for me to know. At the end Joy organised another interview for the following week but had it in the same week. This time the interview did not feel professional at all and was discussing about US politics and felt very uncomfortable. We had back and forth conversations regarding the hours I can work and the days due to my other job and did not appreciate how she was getting a bit rude. I was told I had to pay for all the softwares which was also a downside for me. We arranged a third interview couple of days later, Joy got straight to the point and did not greet more or ask formal questions to ease into the conversation. She became more rude and was very sarcastic, mentioning how English is her first language and she can understand (because of the confusion of timings and days). I found that very rude, making me feel like I am downgraded. In the end I did agree for the position but after carefully thinking about it, I emailed back rejecting the offer. I did not want to deal with the stress of having to work with people that puts me down although I was very keen to use this to gain experience. Overall, when looking back , I was not happy with the interview process. I wish it was handled very professionally, not be sarcastic and if she did not ask or talk about any personal topics

How many siblings do you have? And what job do they do and what job does my parent do?

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Reset MSM in Mar 2022

      Interview

Very strange interview with Joy who runs the start-up. Began by quizzing me on my GCSE results ( exams taken 7 years ago) and didn't mention my work experience. Discussed how successful she had been in life, how impressive the start-up is, including work they had done for the government, and then revealed that in the 6 years since she started reset no funds had been raised. Said she was looking for an unpaid intern who would be dedicated to the role (not looking for other paid work) and someone who would want to stay with the company long term. I asked if this meant the it would be an unpaid internship with the possibility to progress to a paid role, I was told she cannot tell the future, she is not going to overpromise, and the interview ended there. All in all a very very strange interview and somewhat a dodged bullet.
