      Senior QA Automation Engineer Interview

      5 Apr 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Bengaluru
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rivet Labs (Bengaluru) in Mar 2022

      Interview

Initially, I got the call from consultancy & set up an interview with the team, The entire process took more than 2-weeks. The rounds will follow below. Engineering Manager round, talking more about the Product, road map, etc..(If you selected next would be, Written test based on their Product, the process follow below. a) You have to find the bugs as you can on the Product in the given link. b) Based on the bugs that you will find on the Product you have created a JIRA document for each bug with screenshots c) You have written the automation for all bugs which you have found in step-a. (Ex: Using Cypress), then you have to submit your code via Google Drive. If you completed that phase next round be Engineering manager round: In this round more about digging more into your resume, skills, scenario-based questions, etc...(1 Hour round), If they are happy you will get the call for another round. Fortunately I got selected. The next round would be Co-Founder, it's more about the technical skills, improvements in code, how to optimize your code, etc....If you get selected in this round next round would be the Product Managerial round, in this round more about the Product questions, deep dive into your current working projects, how to solve the questions & what approaches you are following in your current company. Once all these are done the Again Engineering round & talking about the same scenario based questions & salary numbers in the last 3 min Once this is done the final round would be with the CEO and it's more about the product, how you can able to handle the team, and some scenario based questions, it's more about the normal discussion. After one week, there is no response & after sending the email, they just responded to me back that they had someone who has just slightly more managerial experience. it's a funny response but that's ok. Overall good discussion, it is a small company with 10-15 employees and they are starting to hire more people for it. It is completely remote, It's a good opportunity, for those who are looking for a complete Remote.
