I was contacted by their headhunter and was told that this was the first recruiter role within the company. I was happy to try and prepared for the interview. When introducing the company to me, the headhunter kept telling me about how brilliant the team was and how great the founder was (most of them were from FB) and I should demonstrate some appreciation of the team's capability during the interview. Well, I took their advice and spent the whole weekend to prepare the interview.
Then right before the phone interview (1st round), the headhunter told me that the interviewer cancel my interview and would like to review my resume. I was shocked, shouldn't they read my resume before they shortlisted me for the interview?
Anyway, I felt that this startup shows no respect to the candidates. This is an irony because their product is marketed as being human-centered.
