The process took 2 days. I interviewed at SCI Consulting
Interview
Should have known better. The red flags were there in the initial interview. Questions unrelated to the job. CEO not focused and scattered approach, unable/unwilling to listen and process information. Totally irrational and disregarding.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked questions regarding my willingness to work long hours.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SCI Consulting (McLean, VA) in Jan 2014
Interview
I contacted by a recruiter and did an initial phone screening. I made it to the next stage of getting an in person interview with two great guys. A week went by with no follow up from the recruiter as promised, so I followed up with an email and call and was finally told I was not the chosen candidate.
Two weeks later the same recruiter from SCI contacted me to my surprise and offered me the job. My response was that I thought they found someone that was a better fit and she responded... Well yeah that person ended up not being a good fit, so you're next best :-/. Then she began to try and low ball me in salary already knowing what my bottom dollar was. I said, "I'm not taking a cent less than this", and few days later they agreed and I came on board. I quickly realized why the first hire probably took off within two weeks. I'm not that easy to quit a difficult situation though.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at SCI Consulting (Tysons Corner)
Interview
HR person liked my portfolio, and I was scheduled to interview with CEO.
After meeting the CEO, the interview was interrupted by someone else wanting to talk to her, and I was asked to wait outside, around 20 minutes. Not a good feeling but I was polite and decided to see this through.
I brought my printed portfolio, and one of the first things she says is that she doesn't like my work, it's not in her style, and starts showing me some magazines and pulications on her desk, telling that's what she likes.
I was straightforward with her and told her that they wasted my and their time asking me to come over, and that I wasn't a good for for them.
I wished all the best, and was walking out, when she either felt bad or wanted impress me, she walked me over to the other room to introduce to her daughter (wtf?), who speaks Russian a bit (i told her earlier that I speak multiple languages). Awkward and unnecessary. Waste of time. I wouldn't have accepted the offer even if I got one.
