It was a very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience for me. Throughout the whole interview, the interviewer was very rude, condescending and dismissive of my answers to his questions, its like he wasnt even trying to listen to what I have to say, and that all his answers were the ‘right’ one. It is very ridiculous for an interviewer to act like that. When asked to explain about my current/previous working experience which is freelancing, he immediately gave me an annoyed and judgy look and said ‘so what have you been doing for the past year?’. I immediately said that ive also been actively searching and applying for jobs and proceeded to explain that the job market is very challenging nowadays. He also added on to say that im not using my diploma to my fullest advantage and i was like mindblown. Just because i wanted to do something different and unique, it feels so wrong to him. Honestly, I cant believe what I am actually hearing so I just nodded my head, said thank you and end the meeting. Oh, and also, shouldnt their HR personnel interview me and not an experienced individual in their marketing team?

I had a very disappointing experience with the interviewer. They were impatient, dismissive, and came across as arrogant — barely paying attention while I was speaking, frequently cutting me off mid-sentence, and showing little genuine interest in my responses. It was also evident that they hadn’t reviewed my resume properly. Moreover, the interviewer asked inappropriate and irrelevant questions for someone who has not yet completed their degree and is simply seeking to gain more professional experience — especially since the job listing itself mentioned that training would be provided. The tone throughout the conversation was aggressive and unprofessional. Frankly, such conduct reflects poorly on the company’s culture. After reading other similar reviews, I’m relieved to know I’m not the only one who felt this way. If the interview experience itself is this unpleasant, I can only imagine what working there would be like. To make matters worse, the job was advertised as a Marketing Executive role focusing on social media, yet when I suggested ideas related to social media, the interviewer immediately dismissed them, saying “this is not just content creation.” On top of that, they asked if I would be interested in doing sales or becoming a Financial Advisor — which was never mentioned in the job description. If that were my goal, I would have applied for a sales role. I’ve just completed the interview, and while I don’t know if I’ll receive an offer, I can say with certainty that I would decline. Such poor and rude attitude is unacceptable.
