The recruiter was asked by SPG HR to inquire about my age, which is a clear violation of discrimination laws in USA. I did not share my age, pointing to recruiter that I am young enough to provide a long career with SPG, and I also mentioned that the question is a violation of US law. However, everybody knows that with a little Google help you can find one's age very easily. They scheduled an interview, though, to save face.
Although based on my experience and skills, it was abundantly clear that I would excel in this role, they rejected me right away. In my estimation, looking at my interaction with the hiring manager , I performed quite well in the interview, I provided professional feedback of 1st class in this role's space, including from a personality point of view.
I would suggest to stay away from this company,
Want to mention that the recruiter did a good job other than the age question.
