I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at STL Engineering (Ottawa, ON) in Mar 2025
Interview
5 step interview process. Pre-screen call, initial call with executive, in-person technical, in-person core value, in-person final with executive. Each interview was between 30 and 90 minutes. Interview people were often late, and some of the technical aspects to the interview were not working (e.g. log in did not work for in-software testing)

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to deal with conflict in the workplace
I applied online. I interviewed at STL Engineering (Dallas, TX) in Oct 2019
Interview
Someone called me on Friday afternoon, Monday I called them back to set up interview for Tuesday Morning. I went to the address given to me and stood at the glass door ringing the bell for 20 minutes, with no answer and no receptionist at the front door. I called the person I scheduled the interview with, and she didnt answer either. I sent her an email stating that I was there and no one was answering. She implied that I was at the wrong suite, and that they were all there waiting on me. I went to the correct suite, 1200W. That left a horrible impression to me and I was a bit frustrated by that. They were aware that I was there to interview, and no one was at the front desk waiting. I was a bit turned off by that.

I am sorry that you had a bad experience for STL Engineering, located in Dallas, TX which has no affiliation with our company located only in St. Louis, MO, and Pelham, AL. I would appreciate it if you could remove this interview review from ours and add it to the appropriate company located in Texas. Thank you.
