We’re sorry that you’d hoped the hiring process would be faster than it was. We can see that you started interviewing in June. As you might not be aware, June and July (and beginning of August) is where most people in Denmark take three weeks vacation; often not simultaneously. This unfortunately means that things sometimes take slightly longer than what we strive for, and we do apologize for the long process and that it feels like a lot of interviews. However it is challenging to present a quick process during the summer, as we want to ensure thoroughness in our interview process and the chance for key team members to be involved. However, one of our most important tasks in a recruitment process is to be transparent and manage expectations with candidates to provide the best experience possible, and it does seem like we could have done better here.
We offer the opportunity to speak with our Mobility Specialist to discuss how we can best support relocators with building their new life in Copenhagen. We understand that relocating to a new country for a job is a huge undertaking for people and their families, so we offer this opportunity to have a conversation about how we would help with relocation to Copenhagen so that our new joiners and families feel at home in Denmark in their new adventure. This is meant to be a service, and not an interview, and we’re sorry if it has not come across that way.
