I interviewed at San Francisco Community Health Center (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
The first round is behavioral questions only and a Zoom screening. There are 3 rounds in total. Not anxiety inducing at all. I had a very receptive and friendly interviewer. They asked about challenges I faced, how I work with a team, and how others would describe. Also interested in my work with diverse populations.

Question 1
Why do I want this job?
Tell me everything you know about HepC and HIV.
How would clients vs friends describe me?
Do I have group facilitation or 1-1 education experiences?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at San Francisco Community Health Center (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2025
Interview
Initial 15-20 minute long video call.
Following afterwards, it is an hour long panel interview with standard questions but it was awkward having 7 people take turns interviewing you, and write down your responses in front of you. Some staff were really nice, others seemed almost a bit judgmental/ rude. People left bit of a sour taste but they do good work. Got ghosted, would have been nice to receive a formal rejection after having to go in person for an panel interview :)

Question 1
How my experiences relate to the role? Why should we hire you? Why are you the best candidate for the role? How do I practice harm reduction in my work? How would I respond if a client refused to work with me? How would I respond if I disrespected a client? Biggest strengths/weakness?
