They posted an open interview schedule for their K9 handler position and I applied and interviewed onsite. The first interview was very straightforward, and was conducted with the owner, Rae Ann Logan. There was a very brief discussion about my experience, and we focused on my most recent employment, but didn’t discuss my other years of animal care experience much. I did ask how long staff tends to stay, since my last job had a very high turnover, and she had mentioned to me that most of the staff had been there for multiple years, and they were generally well staffed. My second interview was the working interview, and was also very straightforward, I performed basic cleaning duties for a couple of hours to demonstrate competency. I was offered the job for Pet Resort Specialist pretty soon after.
