I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Siltbuster (Monmouth, Wales) in Sept 2025
Interview
2 stages after the recruiter. Very easy process. Quick with no to challenging questions. Ultimately I came from the industry so it was easy to grasp. More of an engineering role where you are asked to sell.
I applied online. I interviewed at Siltbuster (Monmouth, Wales)
Interview
Teams call, then in person interview.
Both very good, nothing sneaky or weird. They showed all the other places after the interview: the lab, workshop, etc which was a good chance to get a feeling about the people and managers.
It was 3 people interviewing me, but not as scary as we could think.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Don't remember much, but I am quite sure I had questions like "examples of X situation" and what I did. Then, all the usual questions.
Exciting and not too stressful. It was an enjoyable day and had plenty of wonderful conversations with employees present on the day. Interview itself was where I was able to shine and express myself, and was posed with challenging questions however managed to answer most of them. Attitude was very important.
