It was the oddest on-site ever. They literally spent the entire time going over my resume line by line questioning all my choices in life to see how I got to where I am today. Super dumb considering when you’re 18-22 you’re most likely just trying to figure things out. Very little time was spent on my current/relevant experience and then we ran short on time. I never got a follow up call or response although I followed up with the recruiter and the people I interviewed with several times. Very unprofessional and disappointing for a company I thought so highly of.
The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Slack (London, England)
Interview
After being head hunted and the recruiter being very nice and supportive - promising to be the point of contact to help with any questions…..that was the last of it.
A very empty promise, which is a great representation of poor culture.
Interview was fine, but bland, ok we get it, your slack.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Slack (Dublin, Dublin) in Oct 2019
Interview
The interview process was great. It involved 3 phases (introduction conversation, chronological interview, panel interview and presentation). Feedback was really timely and it expectations during each phase were clearly communicated.
