I interviewed and met the biggest *** of my life. I'm talking a real ****. Everyone knows someone that is an arrogant *** that works in tech. However this guy is the mother of all you-know-what-bags. If you interview here for a tech job, you will likely meet him.
Every answer I gave was wrong, no matter what. He knew what was and wasn't in my background. Yet pounded on experience he knew I didn't have. Then you got the two-year old lecture for the answer. As well as told "everyone knows this".
Everyone else I spoke with was polite and nice. They clearly knew the axe was coming, I'm sure this happens to many candidates. You could sense how dead inside they were, having to work with this guy.
The tech phone screen was the same way. I don't know why they would do a tech phone screen, then bring me in and then expect a detailed level of experience with tech I don't have. Just save time and say it isn't a good fit. I'm sure part of it was "did he lookup the questions we asked earlier". However, the in person was much more.
I could absolutely believe the other reviews on this site about a person being fired in under a week. Clearly they don't know how to vet people. Just read about the other HR experiences on here for the interviews. I could absolutely 100% believe the BS that goes on here.
Under no uncertain terms would I have worked here if they made an offer. Definitely didn't waste the time to send any kind of thank you or follow up.
