I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SocialCare (Austin, TX) in Sept 2017
Interview
Initial phone screen with the recruiter went very well - the recruiter clearly explained the company, their market, and the role. I went on to an interview with the hiring manager, who gave a great background on the company and an overview of their future plans.
I was brought in for an in-person interview that went very well, the team members interviewed me in pairs and asked specific, informative questions and gave clear, direct answers. The interview was run very professionally. Overall I found the experience professional, pleasant, and informative.

Question 1
How would you prepare a sales team for success at an event?

Interview
Their selection process is to hire someone and then fire them if they don't measure up.
The main guy I spoke with, asked me some very easy technical and functional software development questions over a period of roughly 30 minutes via Skype. They then wanted me so badly that they skipped doing a background check on me (which is clean BTW) so they could get me an offer faster. Once on board, I was fired in under a week, citing lack of skills for the job. Absolutely disgusting. Avoid at all costs.

Question 1
The problem is what they didn't ask--skills that they later said were necessary, after I was hired--and I was fired for not having them.

Interview
I interviewed and met the biggest *** of my life. I'm talking a real ****. Everyone knows someone that is an arrogant *** that works in tech. However this guy is the mother of all you-know-what-bags. If you interview here for a tech job, you will likely meet him.
Every answer I gave was wrong, no matter what. He knew what was and wasn't in my background. Yet pounded on experience he knew I didn't have. Then you got the two-year old lecture for the answer. As well as told "everyone knows this".
Everyone else I spoke with was polite and nice. They clearly knew the axe was coming, I'm sure this happens to many candidates. You could sense how dead inside they were, having to work with this guy.
The tech phone screen was the same way. I don't know why they would do a tech phone screen, then bring me in and then expect a detailed level of experience with tech I don't have. Just save time and say it isn't a good fit. I'm sure part of it was "did he lookup the questions we asked earlier". However, the in person was much more.
I could absolutely believe the other reviews on this site about a person being fired in under a week. Clearly they don't know how to vet people. Just read about the other HR experiences on here for the interviews. I could absolutely 100% believe the BS that goes on here.
Under no uncertain terms would I have worked here if they made an offer. Definitely didn't waste the time to send any kind of thank you or follow up.
