I went in and filed out the paper application. I met the general manager and his assistant the first time I went in. I was called later that week for an interview. The interview was with the Head Chef. The interview was held in the cafeteria and although it was an official interview, it felt somewhat casual. He was friendly and asked me about my work history. He also wanted to know how I handled difficult situations at work. The interview lasted 30 minutes. I was offered the job a few days later.
