I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Sodexo (Malvern, PA) in Sept 2015
Interview
I went to the initial Interview. They had me come in for a second interview. Then the third and final interview was a actual cook test. I was told to cook two dishes of my choice. Two interviews and a cook test took about 2 weeks. The extend an offer and I was set to work in three weeks. The day I was scheduled to start they told me that due to a class 3 misdameanor charge (the lowest misdameanor possible)that is less than 5 Yrs old I wasn't going to be able to work there. They day I start! Really. 2 weeks of interviews and another 3 to start date and no one knew that this information that I disclosed during the application process and the initial interview was an issue. I didn't even get an sincere apology. I left my comfortable job and this is what came out of it. This was the most unprofessional process I've ever experienced I'm my ccareer. If I disqualified because of a situation in my background due to company policy, I get it. I understand it and I can respect it, however, for a company to allow you to leave your current job and tell you on your start date the you are disqualified is unacceptable. Sodexo is a company I always wanted to work for but celebrities are truly smaller in person. If I could legally sue I would.
