I applied online. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Nov 2017
Interview
This process was very long and drawn out, but sooo worth the wait! I applied in August 2016 when the rare occurrence of applications being accepted opened. Then the wait began. I heard from them in February 2017 saying they hadn't forgotten me, but they were busy working through the applications they received and again in May. Mid August 2017 I received a call asking if I was still interested, to which I responded, "ABSOLUTELY!!" On October 18 I received a call to set up my phone interview which took place on November 7. Two days later I was notified that I'd been progressed to a face to face which took place mid November. Fifteen days later, I received a call with a CJO or contingent job offer which I joyfully accepted. The process was long, but once it began to move, it was quite the adventure. The information I learned here om Glassdoor was instrumental in preparing for the interview! It is important to know the company, why you want to work there, be yourself and be prepared. The recruiters I interacted with were very easy to talk with which helped me relax. The interview was challenging, but went very well. I believe preparation and openly interacting are very important.
Application, ODVI, F2F. All pretty straightforward, emphasize safety and customer service. If they like you, youll get moved onto F2F round. Practice STAR Method and be comfortable talking in front of a camera

The interview was on zoom in 2022. It was with a recruiter and flight attendant. They were very nice and made me feel so comfortable throughout the process. The whole interview took around 30 minutes.

Interview
So far, it has been moving at a great pace. I have only completed my on demand interview, and I am scheduled to attend my face to face in the near future! The online interview was great - be yourself, smile, and use the uninterrupted time to really express yourself! I'm very grateful for this opportunity and best of luck to all those applying!
