I applied online. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Oct 2019
Interview
Interviewers included the recruit and my future managers. Everyone was so friendly and made me feel confident and relaxed. It was an overall very positive experience considering it was my first experience for an interview of that magnitude and setting.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me to tell them about myself and my experiences.
It was a one way interview software was rlly buggy and syas you can redo the videos if you mess up but you cant :(. All behavioural basic like why southwest, why this position specifically, how does your experience, course work and involvemnet align with this position, a time you had conflict.
It was quick and easy. This was the first round and more of a screening to make sure I met the same requirements that were mentioned on the application. They only asked 3 behavioral questions.
Lots of STAR style questions that pertain to past experiences. The interview was primarily conversation based, and not intimidating at all, would definitely recommend in any department, even if nervous.
