      Sales Interview

      Anonymous interview candidate

The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Spanx in Apr 2010

      Interview

Unrealistic interviewing process. The HR team is very direct and fair however, Hiring managers are totally of the mark on what they need to help their company succeed. The process is too focused on prior irrelevant information instead of current and relative skills. It would serve the company better to give candidates example scenarios to analyze/ solve that relate to the position they are pursuing. This would give a true assessment of the aptitude of a candidate instead of how many examples they can produce regarding past accomplishments. Anyone looking to secure a position should prepare themselves for an unnecessarily long marathon interviewing process armed with many detailed examples of past accomplishments and problem solving skills. Also do not underestimate ones appearance as they thrive in a very shallow environment where appearance is priority. Good Luck!
