Two interviews - one zoom screening with the HR and one panel interview with some program staff and the direct supervisor. The second panel interview was the final interview, and it came down to two candidates. The panel interview was extremely awkward and they were very clearly reading off questions without engaging with my answers. Their body language was stiff and it truly wasn't a very pleasant experience. I knew that interview didn't go well. I accepted another position before hearing from them, so I emailed the HR person tell them that I am no longer interested in the position. I never heard back from them about anything and got completely ghosted. I think the whole process was very unprofessional, and even if I got the offer, I would have rejected it because I don't see myself working with them.
