The hiring process began with an initial call with HR followed by a standard panel interview with management. The interview itself was straightforward, and the questions were not particularly challenging. However, the overall process has been unclear and extremely drawn out, spanning over two months.
After completing a writing exercise and submitting references, I received a call from the hiring manager who mentioned I was their top candidate. Unfortunately, I never received any follow-up communication after that. When I checked the company’s portal, my status showed “no longer under consideration.”
The lack of communication and transparency was disappointing, especially after investing significant time and effort into the process. Clearer updates and timely closure would go a long way in improving the candidate experience.
