I had an interview experience at Stanton & Co. that really disappointed me. I was super excited about the company and the opportunity, but once the interview started, all that excitement was gone. I was scheduled for a 30 minute interview which was over in about 15 minutes.
The interviewer seemed completely disinterested. They asked me about three questions and that was it. My 30 minute interview was done in 15. They didn't acknowledge any of my responses and gave the impression that my interview was simply a task that needed to be checked off.
I was extremely disappointed because again, going into this I was thrilled about the opportunity to work with the company. However, the interview really rubbed me the wrong way. Interviews are about wether or not the candidate is qualified for the role, but it's also about wether or not the individual should want to work for your organization. Having an interviewer who is actually interested in getting to know the candidates and is personable is extremely important, as they are the first representation of the company that we get to see.
