I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Starbucks (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2008
Interview
I put in the application in person. a week later, the manager called me for an interview. I sat down for a one on one with the manager. During the interview she asked questions like: What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses? Have you ever had a conflict with a coworker? How did you deal with it?
She called over the Assistant Manager to ask me a few questions. Pretty straightforward -They just want to get the feel for if you're a friendly and genuine person.
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks.
it was great. I answered every question thoughtfully and easily. You have to have two interviews, one with the manager and one with the district manager. It is a in person interview. They ask many questions and will either hire you on the spot or you will have to call to see if you get the position.
