I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Starbucks (Ann Arbor, MI) in Jun 2015
Interview
The interview was short. Maybe 15 to 20 minutes. General questions. I felt I did pretty well and the interviewer seemed to like me. She told me there would be a second interview and I should get a call later that day or the beginning of next week at the latest. Well, that call never came. I found this misleading and rude. I didn't even know there was a second interview process. If she didn't think I was a good fit, she shouldn't of given me hope. I sat around waiting for a call that didn't come like an idiot for a few days. It was misleading, and in my case I really needed a job asap. It took away from me applying to other jobs because I took the second interview offer as a good sign.
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks.
it was great. I answered every question thoughtfully and easily. You have to have two interviews, one with the manager and one with the district manager. It is a in person interview. They ask many questions and will either hire you on the spot or you will have to call to see if you get the position.
