I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Steel Cardinal Management
Interview
The in person interview was awkward and short. The interviewer seemed like he was in a hurry. I was told I would receive a call if I moved on in the process. I didn't receive a call and the position is still open.
I applied online. I interviewed at Steel Cardinal Management (Roanoke, VA) in Feb 2019
Interview
I was contacted the same day I submitted my application, which was nice, to set up an interview. I went to their "office" a few days later, which is an unmarked door above shops downtown. There were a few others there waiting for their "meet & greet," but when it was my turn I went in this huge room with only a single desk and few chairs. I asked where their office was and it was a very unclear answer. I understand the company is new, but only the interviewer was there. He was mainly interested in if you wanted fast paced environment and if you're ready to work with "top 500 clients"- none of which were ever named. He mentioned Apple as an example, but don't you think their have their own in house marketing team?
Everything was extremely vague and questionable. Cancelled next interview where I could've "learned more about the company" (not much about it online and I still left first interview confused).
