I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Suffolk Construction (New York, NY) in Jan 2017
Interview
the interview process was very easy. I met with two individuals first. I was then set up for another interview with person who would be my supervisor. Everyone made me feel very comfortable and eager to work with Suffolk Construction. I then went to Boston for Onboarding which I was then provided with all needed to start work at the company.
I interviewed at Suffolk Construction (Washington, DC)
Interview
I had several rounds of phone interviews with senior executives from different departments. Everything was pretty casual for a senior level job at a large GC. No weird quizzes or personality tests.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Suffolk Construction (Boston, MA) in Sept 2025
Interview
Long, drawn out, daunting. 8 weeks, 15 different people is nauseating. HR, Talent acquisition, 3 Execs. 6 PMs, 4 VPs, Cumbersome, unorganized. I fully understand people wanting input, but this was ridiculous.
Suffolk was very active in the interview process and moved very quickly setting up follow on interviews and making an offer. Their human resources representative was among the friendliest and most approachable that I have seen, making the interview process seem less like a process and more like a conversation.
