Filled out an application online.
Was asked to fill out another application in person and to bring my resume - even though this had also been provided online.
I came into an office where there were several other people interviewing at the same time and interviewed 15-20 minutes later than when I was asked to be there. There was blaring music in an otherwise empty office. Essentially, they interviewed me for a position that went door to door asking people for the second page of their energy bill and tried to sell them on the idea of receiving free solar panels through a government fund.
I was not interviewed for the position that I applied to.
Also, they asked for prior salary on their written application in the office. This is actually illegal in NJ (where the interview took place). The applicable law is under Assembly Bill A1094.
The interview itself lasted 15-20 minutes and was consumed mostly by the presentation of what they're doing, utilizing laminated sheets of online articles.
