The first interviewer was friendly and informative, sharing details about the company and its overall direction. The second interview, however, was less pleasant: another HR representative took a phone call during our conversation and spoke while I was still on the line.
The test assignment was demanding - create a game-ready stylized character, complete with rigging and a walk-cycle animation, in just three working days. They also asked me to sign an NDA specifically for this test model, something I’d never encountered before.
After I submitted the source files, I immediately received a standard rejection email with boilerplate text (which I discovered in my spam folder a few days later). There was no feedback or personal follow-up.
I'm happy that I didn't get into that company, and highly suspicious that my model can be used somwhere in actual projects.
