First interview :-- Virtual, the interviewer didn't show-up on tine . The one showed up didn't know what she was doing . Big red flags throughout the process! Rejected the company with the agent representing .. HR from Synergy reached out, apologised and wanted to schedule a second one. Thought HR reaching out was nice and thought that was a one-off incident and agreed for the second. The second interview both interviewees turned up on time, went well .. End of the day the agent reached out, promised the role is mine and mentioned they now wanted to consider me for a contract role in a senior role .. Agreed to it after considering certain personal elements and the agent assured me everything is fine , just waiting for the contract to be signed and asked me to consider not taking other offers.. Seems everything was going smoothly , i rejected 1 offer and a second round interview considering this is done and didn't want to waste someone else's opportunity. But after keeping me waiting for almost a week they said they are looking for someone with a higher security clearance, which was kind of a lame excuse since they knew from the beginning what level of clearance i hold . While i was able to secure a better role somewhere else, I don't think i can trust this org as an employer anymore. I am ok for no offer but a call /email explaining the real reason would have been nice. They did not respect my time , efforts or myself as a future employee.
I learned my lesson with them, maybe it's just the individuals I dealt with but be cautious
