Submit application then you wait a week or so and call in to check. Managers are usually pretty good about hiring most friendly faces with or without experience. Sometimes there are group interviews during which you must role play with other possible candidates. Come dressed in formal attire: an interview at a retail store is STILL a job interview.

Why do you want to work here? What are your best skills? What can you bring to this company?
It was a two parter, one on the phone, and one in person. It was a typical interview with the standard "why do you want to work here" and then what they expect from you as a employee.
Very straightforward and simple. It was a phone call with the hiring manager. Super easy peasy, nothing to stress about. Just be confident and kind. It took all of maybe half an hour, maybe less.
