Straightforward and more focused on true life experience instead of the useless “Tell me a time when…” questions. Several layers of interviews let you meet varying levels of seniority relevant to the position you are interviewing for.

Question 1
Request for specifics regarding the day to day of my current job role and how my role has evolved over the years.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Tango in May 2024
Interview
Informal but thorough. normal multi-stage approach of HR, then the team lead. No "Tell us about a time when..." type questions, straight to the point and on topic questions/discussions, and more about real experiences, how you fit the role and so forth. Very up front about themselves too.

Question 1
What size of projects have you worked on, and describe a success and a failure.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Tango (Seattle, WA)
Interview
It was a very long and drawn out process to interview, 5 rounds. After that they offered me a position and then the next day they said that they already filled the positions. I was then told to do another interview with the lead for another team. So I did, this guy then completely ignored the fact that I already went through 5 rounds of interviews and started trying to question everything on my resume as if he didn’t trust the other lead and team that I interviewed with. It felt like he was trying to trip me up. He was very condescending and rude. I decided to call the recruiter and tell them I don’t want to work with the company.
