A recruiter reached out on linked and then she setup a phone call with another recruiter more familiar with the position. She mentioned this will be the 1st of 6 interviews. The next call was setup with an engineer who presented a bunch of question on screen share. After that a call was setup the following week with the VP who barely asked me two questions then determined that I'm not fit for this role. what a wast of time.

what is the OSI mode? what's the difference Symmetric and Asymmetric encryption systems? what protocol run on the following ports 23, 21, 22, 443, 25?

Interview
A really thorough and detailed interview process.
The process was as follows:
Stage 1 - A culture fit interview with the internal recruiters with some rapid fire technical questions.
Stage 2 - A technical interview with a senior engineer, to gauge your skillset and values further, with a strong emphasis on integrity above all.
Stage 3 - A technical panel interview with several engineers, which was quite challenging. Questions around encryption types, and scripts were common. Questioning around AD structuring and so on also. Just come prepared to this.
Stage 4 - Interview with the hiring manager, which was a good conversation around your experiences, some scenario based questions also.
Stage 5 - Interview with senior management for further discussions around your knowledge and values.
Stage 6 - Interview with a VP oversea's to provide a final decision also on the applicant.
It was a great process, and provided plenty of practice also. The arrangement of interviews was seamless, and all of these interviews happened over two weeks.
You need to just come prepared, back up your technical answers with real world examples you can stand by, and be your authentic self.

First round general discussion with Talent acquisition Manager
Second - Online quiz ( Quick technical questions to check your technical understandings on various in different aspects e.g. Linux/Windows/ Networking Protocols ) - Your answer need to typed into text box - No multiple choice questions - don't worry about typo - some technical words related to the questions will show your understanding on that questions.
Third - Virtual Video Call with Technical Team ( Competency questions & few technical questions ) - Key to get over this is need to provide more examples -

Their interview process is extensive, multiple separate interviews with various levels of personnel, both in your position of work and not. Technical and behavioral questioning with the participants rating you internally on questions/answers.
