Process was lengthy, eight interviews, mostly video so be prepared to present a buttoned up polished appearance. They will dangle the CEO carrot 'you might get to meet with the founder if his schedule is free'. I never met the father/son duo. One of the interviewers declined to turn on her video and asked me if it was ok, as she had not brushed her teeth yet (it was 2:30pm). I was shocked! Another interviewer showed up in a sweatshirt, no makeup, hair on top of head (I realize this was not a client meeting but so much for first impressions). Same girl told me that she had worked so many hours that she missed the Tanium User Conference due to exhaustion. The other meetings were fine and everyone was nice. I was asked to send over a 30-60-90 day plan which did not settle well with me so I asked if I could simply share my screen? Recruiter said no, must send deck, so I did, complete with my strategic plan and tactical ideas. Recruiter seemed scattered, called at 4pm on Friday to schedule a Monday AM meeting. Brand awareness for Tanium is non-existent, I suggested some targeted branding approaches. I have a hard time believing the culture is all rah-rah. Lastly, I asked about budgets and was told that they do not have budgets, each campaign is reviewed/approved by the CMO.
