Extremely long and arduous process with 2 screenings and 3 technical interviews. During this process, they use the typical FAANG leetcode/no realistic code example style of interviewing. The culture they described seemed overly daunting for whatever compensation benefits may have partially made up for it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How could a given page be broken down into components?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Tanium (Raleigh, NC) in Mar 2025
Interview
1 Phone Call (30 min) -> 1 Behavioral (30 min) -> 2 Technical Interviews (1 hour each) -> Requested for a 3rd Technical Interview (1 hour) -> Rejected
Entire process took 6 weeks, waaay too long in my opinion for what could've been 1-2 weeks. Also, I was told by all 3 interviewers my solutions were correct, but according to the rejection email, I was not chosen in favor of other candidates.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1) Leetcode 1306 - Jump Game III (1 hour)
2) Implement Left Outer Join in Code (your language of choice) (1 hour)
3) Return smallest number from list of nums after flipping their digits
Ex: [12, 13, 91] returns 91 because 19 < 21 < 31
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tanium (Raleigh, NC) in Aug 2021
Interview
A couple recruiter rounds, two technical screens, and two more behavioral interviews. Most interviews showed up a few minutes late and mentioned that they were got caught up with work and missed the start/bottom of the hour.
Interviewers were disinterested and didnt review my resume until the interview itself (this was evident based on the questions they asked).
The recruiter never provided feedback after the final interviews, which seems extremely unprofessional.
