Interview
I interviewed with TeamSnap in February of 2017. I was excited at the prospect of the remote culture they built, interesting consumer facing product, and everyone I interviewed with seemed nice. From the get go it seemed like they were confused about what responsibilities and competencies they were hiring for exactly. I interviewed with 7 different people over the course of the process. It was a long process filled with phone screens, video conferencing, and panel interviews. I made it to the last stage of interviewing and then heard...nothing. It's been over a month and I still have heard nothing. The job posting is also down off of the site so I assume that the position has been filled. I am disappointed to say the least I didn't even get the courtesy of a turn down call especially since I spent so much time getting to know their team and investing a large amount of my own time and energy. I even followed up with the recruiter twice and heard nothing back. I guess this is the world we live in, but still doesn't seem to match up to the culture that the company touts. Feels unprofessionally passive aggressive. Says a lot to me about a company when the communication at an external level is poor. Unexpected and a massive waste of time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How did you deal with a team or individual that was not aligned with product vision and strategy?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TeamSnap in May 2024
Interview
Had a really positive first couple rounds with the recruiter and hiring manager, but once I asked about the salary range, I was ghosted for 2 full weeks, despite multiple follow-ups. Finally, I got a response in a form letter rejection. Quite unprofessional.
One side interview (what is this 1999?) with trash questions such as:
1) Do you think the Iphone is the best product ever made?
2) What do you think is the best product ever made?
