      Interview

Experience: Negative Outcome: Rejected Application Type: Applied online Timeline: ~3 months, 5–6 rounds planned Interview Process The entire process took almost three months and felt unnecessarily long and unstructured. I had been following TeleClinic for around seven months and applied four times before finally receiving an interview invitation. The same job posting keeps reappearing on LinkedIn every month, often with 100+ applicants within 24 hours, which already felt suspicious. Round 1 – HR Interview (after ~2 weeks) A standard HR conversation with basic questions. Nothing unusual, but the long waiting time between steps was already noticeable. Round 2 – Technical Interview (after ~3 weeks) A deeper discussion about my experience and the challenges they are facing. The conversation was fine, but again followed by a long delay. Round 3 – Home Task A simple Django application with CSV processing, expected to be “production ready” with tests — all within a 4‑hour time limit. The expectations felt unrealistic for the time given. Round 4 – Technical Review of the Task (after ~2 weeks) I explained my solution and answered additional technical questions. The feedback seemed positive, but after another two‑week wait, I received a rejection. The reason given: “We decided to proceed with candidates who have more experience with the tech stack in a startup/scale‑up environment.” There were still two more rounds planned (team interview + CTO/CEO), which makes the rejection at this stage even more confusing. Concerns The role has been reposted repeatedly for over 7 months. If a company cannot find a backend engineer after 1000+ applicants in Germany, the issue is likely internal, not with the candidates. The process feels like they are interviewing continuously without a real intention to hire. Extremely long gaps between rounds with no clear communication.

      Interview

I have been interviewed for the Backend (Python) position. Only HR interview was conducted. Month passed by after the interview and I haven't received any feedback. (What I have noticed about this position is that is being reposted several times from January till now (May). And it has more than 100s applicants... If they couldn't find suitable candidate out of 100s, then the problem is with the company and not with the candidates.

Your feedback is very important to us as it helps us to contunually improve our recruiting processes. We understand that quick feedback is crucial for applicants. However, in phases with many applications and an intensive selection process, it can be challenging to respond to all canddates as expected. Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TeleClinic in Jul 2024

      Interview

The recruitment process began with a standard screening interview, followed by an interview with the team lead and the head of product. After this, I was given a take-home assignment, the evaluation of which constituted the technical interview with the team. There was an additional round of technical interviews with a senior developer, and finally, a managerial interview with the CTO. Every interview was conducted in a very positive atmosphere. I found everyone to be exceptionally kind, well-prepared, and friendly. I would particularly highlight the senior developer interview, which was perhaps one of the best interviews of my life—an exceptionally relaxed and engaging conversation. The recruiters were proactive and ensured the process moved smoothly. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would highly recommend it.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Generic questions about motivation and conflict handling. During the technical interviews, some Django and Python questions were asked.
