Tesco Engineering Manager interview questions

I've only gotten to the first stage, which was an interview with the hiring manager. The interview was standard for a manager role, with questions about team processes, development, etc. My answers were more nuanced due to my longer experience in similar roles. I have a general impression that more textbook answers were expected.
