Really straightforward, made to feel at ease. The manager seemed really nice and I’m excited to join Tesco’s. Recommend to school leavers, uni leavers, part time. They are super flexible if you want to work evenings for example
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Have you ever been in a difficult situation if so how did you overcome it
I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Tesco in Jun 2011
Interview
Hiring process - essentially, you will be taken into a room for a group interview with about 8-10 other people. There will be some form filling and some questions. Then you will have a one on one with the checkout manager. It consits of pretty much, 'what hours can you work' and 'when you can start'. Not sure about the firing process, ive been at my extra for the last year and have not seen anyone been fired.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The flexi contracts; nothing is too difficult at tesco, just they will ask simply questions and slowly manipulate you and think what you are doing, perhaps form filling, is just a formality. They do everything for a reason. Just remeber that. Make sure you are prepared for any questions at the start of the interview or even when you are on the job, be three steps ahead of your manager.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesco (Portsmouth, South East England, England) in Feb 2021
Interview
it was great, so nice and friendly really enjoyed it.
had a few chats with different members of the team and then got offered the job over the phone and the process was great
Quite straightforward. Their website was good, staff were friendly. I would say that I found it quite easy to apply, there were no issues. It was good to go through a process like this, for me.
