I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Tesco (Luton, East of England, England) in Mar 2018
Interview
Introduction of the day, followed by being split into groups- these are the groups for the group interviews. First group did the 3D CV presentation and interview. Next was a task involving reading several articles on new ideas for Tesco- these were very unrelated to food and largely about new technologies. You had 30mins to read all the information which was followed by an interview where you had to present which was the best new idea and why. This was followed by rigorous questioning and probing about your choice. Finally there was a group exercise, which involved reading some information and discussing it with the rest of the group. This was a large group exercise (too large in my opinion), which only allowed dominating individuals to shine through, along with a crowded room full of assessors.

Interview
very casual, assessment day was relaxed with group excercises, a 3D interview and a presentation. prior to this their was a video interview where you could re record your answers and prepare for them as u saw them because of no time limit. So this part was easy
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tesco (Cheshunt, England) in Jun 2015
Interview
Lengthy Phone Interview, mostly repeated questions which i had tackled in the online application. Interviewer was very casual and friendly. Skills-based interview rather than case. Invited to an assessment center at a hotel where i was invited to give a 3D CV: a cross between a traditional interview and stand-up comedy sketch about my work experience. Further Questions about my work experience, teamwork experience, etc. Business case study assessment where i had to make a commercial decision and present it to a senior manager, who then proceed to poke holes in my proposal. Finally a group interview where 10 of us had to come to a business decision following negotiation
