I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Tesla
Interview
The employees who are mostly in their twenties, maybe, treat the company like an exclusive club, like you are privileged to be there. It's very clear that they believe they are the best and the brightest and if you demonstrate anything but perfection they will write you off. It all kinda felt like a panicked rush with minimal leadership or seniority to guild the process and you really have to drink the Kool-Aid to work 16 hours a day and stay sane. All things considered, I wouldn't apply again.
It was good and a lot of shop floor experience and a good manufacturing background. Overall, I would say if you prefer on floor job, this would be a great fit
I applied online. I interviewed at Tesla (San Francisco, CA) in Sept 2024
Interview
Not too hard. I had two interviews one with my manager and one with my mentor. Both where very chill with no behavioral questions just about the company and my resume.

I applied online. I interviewed at Tesla (Palo Alto, CA) in Apr 2024
Interview
2-3 screening interviews and then presentation interview with panel of 3-4 engineers, select subject of your interest and present. Panel member dropped after 20 minutes for unknown reason. Needless to say, it was Friday and they hate the process themselves.
