I applied online. I interviewed at Tesla (San Jose, CA) in Sept 2020
Interview
The whole interview Process took about 1.5 months. Starting from a screen call from the recruiter, then the hiring manager; If passed, they will assign you an "assignment" to complete in one week. I tried my best, did everything that I can do for this assignment. Even this was so time-consuming, it's a good practice. So I think the time I spent on this was valuable; Once the assignment was approved, they will move you forward to a pannel interview. So basically, the process was giving a presentation about what you did, then had about 4-5 small group channel of interviews with the whole team. After this, if passed. You will be asked to talk to a director for the final conversation. So overall, I will say I had a really great experience because my recruiter was AMAZING! She is the best recruiter I've had!!

Why Tesla?
How deal with tight deadline?
How to work with different people/team?
Very curt recruiter on the phone. Seemed like interrogation not interview. Would not recommend, felt like a toxic environment. Did not seem to have read my resume before meeting and not sure why they even called me back, seemed uninterested from hello.
