I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Tesla in Feb 2013
Interview
I got an email through the engineering career center at my college and applied online. I got a call back from a recruiter at Tesla to conduct a first round background screen. I then got a second round call from one of the engineering team members, which ended up being a bit more technical.

really bad interview process. Recruiter never gets back after multiple rounds of interviews with no kind of feedback. Interviewer seems really good during the interview and questions are relevant to the role. No expected timeline given at the starting which makes it worse.
