Take time for processing. I pass but need to wait for over 1 month for internal process. It wastes of time. I don't recommend to work here. The enviroment is toxic too
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Thanh Cong Group (East Fishkill, NY) in Feb 2023
Interview
The interview process can vary greatly depending on the company, industry, and position you're applying for. However, I can provide a general overview of what a typical interview process might entail:
Application Submission: The process usually begins with submitting your application, which typically includes your resume/CV and possibly a cover letter.
Initial Screening: After receiving your application, the company may conduct an initial screening to assess your qualifications and fit for the position. This might involve a brief phone call or an online assessment.
First-Round Interview: If you pass the initial screening, you'll likely be invited to a first-round interview. This could be conducted in person, over the phone, or via video conference. The purpose of this interview is usually to further assess your skills, experience, and fit for the role. It may include behavioral questions, technical questions (if applicable), and a discussion of your background and interests.
Technical Assessment: Depending on the nature of the position, you may be asked to complete a technical assessment. This could be a coding challenge, a case study, a design exercise, or some other form of practical evaluation.
Second-Round Interview(s): If you perform well in the initial interview(s) and technical assessment, you may be invited back for additional rounds of interviews. These could involve meeting with different members of the team or leadership, diving deeper into technical topics, or discussing specific projects or scenarios relevant to the role.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interview questions can cover a wide range of topics, depending on the position you're applying for, the industry, and the specific company's culture and priorities. Here are some common types of interview questions you might encounter:
Behavioral Questions: These questions are designed to assess how you've handled various situations in the past and how you're likely to behave in the future. Examples include:
"Can you tell me about a time when you had to deal with a difficult coworker or client? How did you handle the situation?"
"Describe a challenge you faced on a project and how you overcame it."
"Tell me about a time when you had to work under pressure to meet a deadline."
Technical Questions: These questions assess your knowledge and skills related to the specific requirements of the job. For technical roles, they might involve coding challenges, algorithmic problems, or questions about specific technologies or methodologies. Examples include:
"How would you optimize a SQL query for performance?"
"Can you explain the difference between inheritance and composition in object-oriented programming?"
"Walk me through your approach to debugging a complex software issue."

Interview
In fact, this depends on interviewer. Most interviewers have been in this role for years if not for decades and they may be interested in different things.
As for me, I usually start with general questions: who are you? what do you do in life? Then: How did you learn about Servas? Why are you interested to join us? I also speak about Servas myself and observe the reactions of the person.
I never had to refuse anyone. A few times, I had a feeling that this person was not someone we needed. In this case, I simply discouraged the person from joining. It is not that difficult.
Today, there are too many different hospitality exchange organisations, and you can join most of them without this interview hassle.
