I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Earthshot Prize (London, England) in Jun 2024
Interview
Was slightly chaotic. It got the impression that it is run like a start up, the scope wasn't really clear, meeting time were changing.
People were really nice and no doubt very smart.

Interview
I participated in a two stage interview process, which was conducted within a fortnight. It felt rushed because they wanted to complete the process before heading to the awards in South Africa.
There was then almost a two month wait before I was notified of the outcome. I was told this was because the CPO was the decision maker even though the role would not be reporting into them.
I had to chase on an almost weekly basis for an update, given only a slight indication that the outcome was positive the day before they went to Sourh Africa, otherwise I would have cut my losses and pursued other opportunities.
I discovered when I chased for the final time that the remit of the role was changed last minute by the CEO and given to someone else that they interviews 6 weeks after interviewing me. This did not strike me as best practice and consequently was not the best experience.
