I applied online. I interviewed at The Range (Worthing, West Sussex, South East England, England) in Sept 2019
Interview
Came and waited standing by the customer service desk for about 20 minutes before the manager finally came and just had a casual chat with me in the cafe upstairs before offering me the role at the end of the interview as it became clear they were desperate from Christmas temp staff and didn't really seem too fussed about experience or anything
asked a few simple questions about availability and commute. was unorganised and rushed, they had my cv printed but barely used it. they only cared about why i left previous job
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at The Range in Aug 2025
Interview
Applied direct on their website, received a call the next day inviting me for an interview. I arrived and the customer service team called through to say I had arrived, the manager acted like he didn't know I was coming, didn't say hello, introduce himself or make eye contact. He didn't ask me anything about my CV or experience, just asked when I was available, how many hours I wanted to work and if i would overtime which I answered. I was there for five minutes and was told he would call or email me. Neither thing happened. Thank goodness as I wouldn't want to work there anyway, most depressing place I've ever been.
very laxed and felt layed back and was only asked to speak about my self and was asked my availability and would i be fit for lifting heavy materials and doing practical work other than till
